MEET THE BUGS!
"Meet The Bugs!" is a poem picture book highlighting 18 common bug species. It is intended as an introduction of these common bugs to children aged 3-8. Each bug is represented in a cute "bug-eyed" cartoon style, and a corresponding short poem highlighting a simple fact about the bug.
"Meet The Bugs!" was a title inspired by the Beatles first album, "Meet The Beatles!" The poems are short and playful while educating young readers on a simple fact about each bug. Much of my own knowledge of these bugs (and others) came from my experiences as a child, constantly outside digging, seeking, observing, and playing with the local creepy-crawlies of our backyard and other locales in southeastern Pennsylvania.
